Nothing demands attention or says luxury more than a beautiful canopy bed. There’s something warm and whimsical about these grand beds, with or without styled drapery, that transports you to a romantic hideaway. Here are my top three that are bound to get you dreaming: 1. The Diego Bed by Oly San Francisco is an absolutely stunning bed – its delicately sculptured iron frame is available in antiqued bronze, gold, or silver, keeping with the current metallic trend. An upholstered headboard offers the perfect support for late-night reading, and softly contrasts against the textured iron. Keep this bed drape-less to let the bed shine on its own. 2. Oly San Francisco’s Marco Queen Bed features a hand-hammered iron frame that gives this bed a soft textured look. Add soft sheer drapes around the upholstered headboard, paired with luxurious velvet accent cushions, for a soft and romantic feel. 3. Max Sparrow’s Bradford Queen Bed With Canopy is a perfect masculine and modern take on the canopy bed; with its strong timber frame, metal canopy rails, and dark upholstered headboard, this bed will compliment any interior. Just one thing to keep in mind prior to purchasing your very own canopy bed: A canopy bed requires a lot of space, so if you don’t have an overly large room keep things refined by having your canopy bed as the statement piece, and leave the rest of the room minimal (don’t over-clutter).
